A pair of vintage Bedouin high grade silver Fibulas. From the district of El Djem* in Southern Tunisia.



This kind of traditional Tunisian Fibulas (safety
pins!) have been handcrafted in Tunisian since the times of the Roman Empire
with little or no changes and are very difficult to date. This pair should be of
the early 1900, but could be much older.
They have a nice patina and show signs of ware, having been worn for quite a number of years.
The length is about 8cm, weight 24 gr.
