Sicily, according to UNESCO, has the largest concentration of historical and art venues of the world. From Etnalodge most of Sicily is reachable within a day trip, close by to the lodge there are many interesting spots for cultural interest and sport activities among which:

• Trekking can range from a very easy level up to a 5-day discovery tour on Mount Etna Mount Etna Active Volcano Nature Reserve. Etna Webcams

• Mountain climbing.
• Swimming, sun-bathing and cozy dining at the beach

• Scuba diving and equipment rent at Giardini.
• Hang gliding from the mountains above Letojanni.
• Golf club (18 holes) 8 km away.
• Tennis, basket, soccer, track and field at the village sport center.
• ETNA: explore the active volcano and it's caves, climb to the top craters or ski at Piano_Provenzana 2000 Mt. or higher, 24 km away, with ski lifts and equipment rent.

• Dog sledge school (trained dogs and human students).
• Archeology and Historical Cities: Agrigento, Siracusa, Pantalica, Piazza Armerina and Caltagirone,
